Junior School occupies an important place in the setup of the college. It is from Classes I to IV. Each class consists of two sections. Maximum strength of each section is about 30. Regular admissions in Junior School are made in class I. Headmistress is the head of the Junior School.
The following subjects are taught in the Junior School:
English, Urdu, Maths, Islamiat, General science, S.Studies, Computer Science, Nazra and Arts.
The teaching staff consists of the qualifed and hardworking female members. The School is divided into Tipu, Jinnah, Babar and Iqbal Houses on the pattern of Prep and Senior Schools. Incharge of each House is a Housemistress who is assisted by the non academic staff. The non-academic staff consists of matrons. They are responsible for the well being of the kids. They provide them with neat and clean clothing and take care of their hygiene. For their assistance, there are 'Ayas' and 'Bearers'. Each house has one matron, one Aya and one bearer. Their duties are very tough. They look after the small pupils from morning till evening.
The pupils daily have two to three hours of games. During these hours, they play various games under the supervision and guidance of a P.T.I. Games include football, cricket, races, P.T. etc. Small Kids also participate in the inter house athletics competitions with full interest. They participate in various races like wheel barrow, relay race 400m, three legged race etc. and the winners get prizes on the annual sports day. Young toddlers of Junior School also have their Inter-house sports competitions of cricket and football and the winners get prizes on the annual sports day with their senior counterparts. To improve their accent in Urdu and English, and to build confidence in them, speech competitions are arranged by the school's debating society regularly every year.
National functions include 23rd March, 14th August, 6th September, Eid-Milad-un-Nabi
and Alama Iqbal Day. They are also celebrated by the Junior School boys as
good as their Prep and Senior School counterparts do.
To entertain the boys and to provide them with free and frank environment, various plays and skits are also arranged by the Schools Dramatic Society. The young students take part in them with interest. The most thrilling experience is of scouting. Junior kids enjoy it very much. They go to the Brewery Camp for one week and participate in different competitions there under the auspices of the Punjab Boys Scouts Association every year. Excursions have once again been revived in letter and spirit in Junior School also and the young boys enjoy themselves a lot from them.
