This introduction to our School is aimed at conveying the excitement and richness of life, which is contributing to our goal of excellence in education.

The Preparatory School is a middle school of Lawrence College serving Grade 5,6 and 7 children. We have a student population of over 210 children, (191 boarders and 19 day scholars),who are provided with an educational setting that offers rigorous academic challenges, diverse co-curricular activities. Part of our uniqueness lies in the extensive co-curricular activities we offer in this small-school setting. Some of these activities include, Computer Lab, Language Lab, Science Lab, Library, Wood Work Workshop, Fine Arts Department, Music Club, Dramatic Society, Debating Society, Scouting Activities and boys are also prepared for sports events, which includes Athletics, Cricket, Football, Basketball and Hockey.

The Prep School Academic program seeks to refine a student's intellect throughout his years at the school. Challenging courses and qualified teachers offer students the opportunity to:

· Become curious about the world
· Discover a real enthusiasm for learning.
· Develop study skills and analytical skills.
· Become more self-reliant and confident.

At the Prep School, course planning is guided by the Senior School requirements, as well as the goal of preparation for further study in the college.
